Club News

Saturday 2 August 2014

Since our last update we have found new but probably temporary new clubrooms in Rainham in Essex. We have now started to move in to the new premises and the 0 gauge layout Barsborough Market is now in an partly assembled and members Tony Gains, Roger Ford , Bernard and my self are still working on to complete. We have just under 30 members and only 6 of us are 0 Gauge members. The rest will be moved over later. More news as it comes up hopefully pics when we can figure out how to upload them. The new rooms are on the second floor of an office building with unparalleled views on two sides over the River Thames the total are is about 25% less than previous and we are paying more. The only other problem is as it is a commercial building the rates for the new premises are rather steep but thanks to a couple of other GOG members we are pursuing an avenue to get the rates heavily discounted by about 80%. hopefully.
