Petite Properties Ltd. O gauge building kits

Taken from the forum 2017 - Stewart Ingham

Marsworth Arms
Thoroughly enjoyable build, well thought out kit with good instructions it almost falls together. Kit contains laser-cut sides, front, base and rear, with pre-cut windows and glazing, detail parts and card roof.

I finished mine by using Slaters Plastikard brick overlay and roof tiles, plus guttering and downpipes. If you intend to follow my route I would suggest adding an extra roof support to prevent any bowing.

Hi Mike, have looked at their website and they do a good range of buildings of varying types and assume the scale of 1:48 doesn't look to out of place on your layout.

Although the one Mike built is available in 1/48th they also have a small range of 1/43.5 and so true 7mm scale suitable for O Gauge

The building kit in my review is 1/43.5th Marsworth Arms (LOW RELIEF) not 1/48, although I have built and used 2 of the 1/48th models on my Wellington street layout.

Thanks to both of you for clarifying that for me, missed the 1/43.5 ranges………………senior moment I reckon!

Their paint is good as well. They do not do a full range of colours, but there is lots of pigment in the paint (unlike certain makes of dishwater!) and it covers on their wooden buildings (and the buildings I have etched myself) in one coat.

Looks very good, but the design of the windows is rather odd.

Shedman,
The windows with their extra glazing strips are almost identical to the ones in our previous house, a 1904 built Edwardian terraced house.
Cheers,
Andrew

Here are three of their buildings which I have finally got far enough with to try placing on my layout. The local electricity board have yet to install the mains to the area so cables are lurking behind for lights in various rooms.
