When you clean the old Heljan body up before spraying do you have any tips for removing the old?

I strip the old paint off before anything else is done.
What you need is some 99%/100% IPA and mix it 90% IPA mixed with 10% water and put it into a tub that can hold the body in fully submerged (I've seen glass raw spaghetti jars used before now) and leave it for a few hours.
I found that the main body colour of the 31 was green as was the plastic colour too, so it didn't look like much was coming off, when in fact it was.
I remove all the handrails and other associated parts beforehand too.
I buy my IPA by the gallon off Ebay, but it must be the pure 99%/100% stuff; don't use 75% as it doesn't work. How do I know???
