CSP Models	Locomotives - steam	Kits		Hawthorn Leslie		CSP7-01	Hawthorn, Leslie & Co Ltd built, in 1890, two similar 0-4-0 saddle tank locos, one named Clausentum and the other Ironside, for the Southampton Dock Company. The locos passed to the LSWR, along with the dock company, in 1892. Both locos retained their names throughout their working lives. The pair, numbered 457 and 458, by the LSWR, carried various running numbers during their SR career. Photographic evidence suggests that Ironside carried either a short or a long chimney at different times. Clausentum was withdrawn in 1945 but Ironside survived, as BR 30458, and ended its working days in 1954 as shed pilot at Guildford.
