Fine scale 0 depicting a ficticious north/south line to the west of London conveying midland trains to the southcoast resorts and vic-versa. The line will also handle a large quantity of freight from the steel works in the midlands to the docks at Portsmouth and Southampton, as well as to the docks for the channel islands (Weymouth & Plymouth) So a great variety of train working is to be expected. The layout itself can be operated in two forms.... 1) terminus to fiddle yard approx 32foot long(for example for weekend engineering works) 2) oval form 20 foot X 40 foot which will depict the through regional trains as mentioned earlier. We are in the process of converting to DCC. However the layout for club room purposes can be DC.
