Edington Junction was in Somerset, on the Somerset & Dorset Railway branch from Evercreech to Highbridge. It became a junction when the branch to Bridgwater was opened in 1890. Although the branch closed in 1954, our layout is based on the 1920s, with some adjustment at the east end to keep it a manageable length! The model, 0 Gauge finescale, was built in response to requests for a layout set in the S&D ‘blue period’. We also run it as in early BR(Southern) days.
