The layout has been derived from a part of Gosfield Junction. Members of the O Section felt that the full layout was only conducive to very large shows, this smaller version has made it easier for smaller shows or limited transport costs. It features a goods yard with stabling and refuelling facilities for both steam, diesels and frieght stock. It is set in the period leading up to the end of steam in 1967 allowing a good range of traffic and its location is fictional within the North Essex area at the end of a branch line. The layout is 10 meters long and 1 meter wide approximately, DCC and DC operation. We welcome invitations from show organisers.
