26ft 6in x 2ft 6in layout based on a fictional small town terminus south west of Guildford in Surrey.
Unusually, stock from all three Southern constituent companies met in the area while the GWR shared the service from Reading to Tonbridge via Guildford. The branch is assumed to come off the LBSCR direct line from Horsham to Guildford and hence all the scratch built railway buildings are actual ex-LBSCR prototypes. At exhibitions we usually operate two separate periods: one day will be 1930s Southern Railway, the following day 1950s BR Southern Region, depending on availability of stock.
