Come along and enjoy some festive mince pies!
The Group meets 10 times a year monthly from September to June (July and August being holiday times.) Meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month and are held at St Marys Church Hall., New Church Road, West Bergholt, Colchester CO6 3JZ. Meetings start at 14.00 hours until 17.00. It is all very informal and visitors are very welcome. There are no extra subscriptions to join the group but a contribution is asked from those attending the meetings to defray the costs of the hall hire and refreshments.
The March meeting of the group was attended by 23 members which was a good turnout under the circumstances There was a good mix of models to be seen on the tracks with both diesel and steam outlines represented.
It has been decided that the April Meeting will be cancelled due to the Covid19 threat as we would not like to be responsible for any member to be at risk from this. This will probably apply to the May meeting as well but a further announcement will be made later on.
