Club News

Wednesday 24 October 2018

We were lucky enough to hold our annual exhibition in early March just before lockdown. When we resume construction will continue on a new multi gauge test track that will include 32mm gauge. Unfortunately in order to leave room in the club room for other activities (and the members) this will not have 6 ft radius curves and will be limited to the smaller locomotives especially the industrial type.

About the Club

We are a multi gauge club with four 0 Gauge Guild members and others who dabble in 0 gauge loco building and American 1/48 scale narrow gauge. One of our newer Guild members is interested in Great Western Broad Gauge and is producing a mixed gauge layout of St Ives. This will be dead track with battery powered locos with radio control using a fancy system which frankly I dont fully understand.
