Warley now long past. A successful show where the layout had a good crowd in front throughout. We were pleased to receive an an award from the LMS Society for the best representative LMS layout with LMS signalling at the show. We seem to be gathering trophies at the moment too, having just received the Railway Modeller Cup for 2016 for The Summit. An award voted for by the readership. The last time the cup went to a 7mm layout was in 1997 and that was for our layout Gas Works. Currently we are working towards adding a model of Evercrech New (Somerset and DorsetRailway) to the fiddleyard of The Summit. Gas Works is receiving some attention; minor repairs and updating the lighting to leds. All layots in theclub are having some work on them, revision, continuing build. One in preparation for an exhibition later in theyear. Then there is preparation for our Open Day in July.Contact me for more details.
