Southampton Model Railway Society has a new clubroom! All our layouts can now be up and operating... We have several dedicated modelling benches and a good library/communal area/kitchen for that all important cup of tea/coffee. Clubroom is a cosy well lit first floor series of rooms with mens and ladies toilets, central heating, comfortable atmosphere. Easy parking. Close to Bitterne Station for the trains and several Bus Routes use Northam Bridge out of Southampton.

Meetings

As well as its own Model Railway Exhibition in January, the Society is well represented at many Shows around the country, both through its own or members own private layouts - with several featuring in the model press over the last few years. We currently meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm.

Rampart Road

a new O Gauge Layout under construction. A permanent double track circuit configurable as DC or DCC, with some portable scenic baseboards designed to be run as a seperate Exhibition Layout.
