About the Group

We meet each Tuesday evening at the Keighley Model Railway clubrooms. In addition regular open weekends are held plus working parties at other times. The group has possibly not only the countrys largest collection of touring exhibition layouts but also very enviable clubrooms consisting of around 8,500sq. ft. of space in which normally at least four of the groups five layouts are erected at any one time in addition to our test track which provides running facilities from Gauge 1 down to N.

The clubrooms also house layouts in other scales including G, OO,N and American. A 90ft Gauge 1 scenic layout is under construction and the club would look at proposals from new members to construct layouts in other gauges/scales (any 7mm NG modellers our there?)

Library, social room, workshop and fitted kitchen are included along with one of the best views of the adjacent Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.

New branch layout for Ravensbeck at present under construction.

VISITORS ARE MOST WELCOME ON CLUB NIGHTS OR OPEN DAYS TELEPHONE THE ABOVE NUMBERS FOR DETAILS.

Meetings

Club night is every Tuesday 7.00 - 10.00pm, but individual layout groups meet on other nights, and there is also a Junior Section which meets on most Saturday afternoons 1.00-5.00pm (see Saturday Club page on the Club website for upcoming dates). We also host meetings for 2mm and 3mm Finescale groups and the West Riding EM group on certain Saturdays - again, upcoming dates are listed on the Saturday Club page.
