Our continuous run layout/test track which will be a semi-permanent fixture in the club house is now up and running. The side sections are fixed with the curved sections being erected on running nights. Taw Magna, our exhibition layout, has now been erected and will be available for running subject only to periods of routine maintenance. Construction of a smaller shunting layout with an overall length of 14 has now commenced with baseboard construction now well under way.

About the Club

Our exhibition layout, Taw Magna, is pictured below. In addition we have the "roundy", a circular layout giving twin track running of about 100 feet round the clubhouse.

Our members interests are varied and a variety of stock both steam and diesel can be seen at our regular running sessions. New members are always welcome to both add and broaden the existing skills set within the section. If you live in East London or West Essex and may be considering joining a club or just have an interest in O Gauge railways then please feel free to contact us either by e-mail or mobile, details of which are listed below

Our regular meeting place is beside Chadwell Heath railway station, Ilford, Essex.
